Diary Entry - 6 February 2010
{~Happy Birthday to Sakai Izumi of ZARD~}

坂井泉水さん、お誕生日おめでとうございます!時が経つのが早くて、もう2010年になりましたが、天国でいかがお過ごしでしょうか。

Lessons have started proper in school. Orientation was over by 2 February, and I would say that it was fun. Especially the disco night. Reminds me a lot about the CCHY Graduation Night 2009. Without the Academy Awards decorations, but a whole lot more of sweat.

We thought that they would play the song, A Night to Remember, during disco, but no, they didn't, during disco. Instead they played it to accompany their last performance from the 31st Student Council, for their mass dance last year.

Being the very bonded and high Chung Cheng Alumni we are, Marvin, Anna, Lingshan and me went to the back of the hall while everyone was already seated. We started to dance our Graduation Night dance, while the OGLs and the Student Council danced their version. Later I went to pull Jiansheng and Qunjie out to join us. It was crazy but a whole load of CCHY fun.

Then lessons started the next day in NYJC. GP lectures, random talks here and there. They were all lectures for now, tutorials only begin after Chinese New Year. Everyone was okay. Just okay.

Yesterday, my schedule ended at 1100, but I had to stay until 1230 because 1) I cannot leave the school before its "Official Dismissal Time" at 1230, and 2) I had to wait for everyone else who had Biology/Physics lectures.

In the mean time, I did my Chemistry lecture work, and SMSed Duncan to make sure that he came over to Bishan to join all of us for lunch since his school released early too. Xueying didn't have school nor work yesterday, so I asked her to call Lingshan and the rest if they wanted to meet at Junction 8 for lunch together. So it sort of became a 4H'09 lunch @ Junction 8.

They left rather early though, so we just walked around for a bit more before going back. It started pouring when we were on the MRT, so I took it all the way to Northpoint. I wanted to borrow a book from the library, but I couldn't find any good ones for now, so I left empty-handed. <_<

So, why the reading groove? Because I borrowed and read Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac from the library the week before. It was made into a movie in Japan starring Horikita Maki, Matsuyama Kenichi, Tegoshi Yuya and some Caucasian guy. It sounded like a lot of fun, so I borrowed the book and read it. It was an awesome read because the plot was full of twists and turns. I'm really anticipating the movie right now, but it's not going to come out anytime soon. Especially the DVD.

Today's a free Saturday, went out to Northpoint in the morning, went to find Mr Goh at Burger King for nothing, then went shopping for New Year goods. Chinese New Year in one week!

Good Day!
