{~Results Revealed~} Finally, the day has come to get our GCE 'O' Levels result slips. I managed to sleep last night somehow, but this morning was torturous. I couldn't sit still at all. Ended up reaching the school hall quite late despite all that, everyone was quite seated, so I joined our class at the last row. XD Everyone else was right in front before Miss Kaur's table, while Mrs Choo walked around our class. She told us that "If your name is called out later, stand up and go up. Don't make them keep calling your name." So 1400 hours came and Mr Ong started showing us our school's performances for the O's last year. It was quite a long wait before the text "Outstanding Performers" appeared on the screen. Then it showed a table with 6 rows. Then my name appeared on the top row, with 8 A1s and 2 A2s. Next were Joping, Qunjie, Sheryl, Qiguang and then Chongwei. These were the 6 A1s and above. So we went up in order to get our result slips from Mr Ong personally and get our photos taken. The next slide said "Top Student" and my name appeared. I did it. Although I didn't get 10 A1s like I foolishly hoped to, but I shall learn to be content with whatever I have. I got A2s for Biology and Higher Chinese. I don't know why I got an A2 for Biology anyway. But I didn't expect that I would get A1s for English and Combined Humanities instead. The 6 of us were then called down to take photos with Mr Ong while Mr Ong talked to me for a bit while walking down. He also told me, Qunjie and Joping that he has faxed our phone numbers to the press in case they want to interview us by phone. Somehow the photos are currently on the school website. I really thank all my teachers who have put in so much effort to help us win this war. Mrs Choo Poh Poh, Miss Manvinder Kaur, Mr Goh Ching Poh, Mr Lee Kah Chin, Mdm Connie Yeo, Mdm Goh Bee Hong, Mrs Ang Lee Boon, Mdm Sue Chuay Hong and Suzuki Misako-sensei. There's also Miss Fanny See whom I did call and inform about my results in the hall. Called my parents in the hall and informed them about it, then I also SMSed my aunt. We later went out to Eatzi to have lunch, when Dad told me that aunt would be treating us to dinner. So after lunch, I went home, got changed, and went out for dinner at Novena Square. Had a nice dinner. :D And I also received monetary rewards from my Aunt and Grandma, thank you~ Well, my Mum promised me some too, but I haven't gotten them, and won't be getting them soon, so... XD After dinner was Haagen Daz ice cream. Seriously, it was my first time having it. Although I had a bad cough, which had gotten worse after fried chicken lunch and ice cream after dinner, I enjoyed the meals. :D It's sort of a dream come true for me. Thank you everyone who has helped me in one way or another. Alright, I shall sleep now, it's 2AM, and we're going to NYJC's Open House tomorrow morning. I don't know why we are actually going there since we've already spent 2 days there, but we'll just walk around then go home, I think, I hope. Alright now, I shall go rest already.
