Diary Entry - 31 January 2009

Went to Mr Ang's house today~

Met up with the people at the old OCBC at Northpoint, took a bus there.

Reached there when there were still a whole load of other students around. Sat inside the house for a while before going outside to talk. Then the teachers began streaming in, and we left at around 1800?

Went to Jasmine's house to play Black Jack. Started off winning quite a lot, then began losing like hell. Lost $28. T_T

Found out today that Yewyi was afraid of practically any mammals. He literally screamed when he entered Jasmine's house with the dogs running all over the place. And he couldn't keep his eyes off Mr Ang's dog which was kept behind the bars, just afraid that it would come out and come to him. Haha, so cute. He said that if a cockroach was to fall on his hands while he was doing homework, he would just grab it and throw it away, but if a hamster were to fall on his hands, he would scream like there's no tomorrow. *laughs*

Speaking of Jasmine's dogs, I think one of them snatched Chongwei's angpao from Jasmine's Mum. And we were laughing like hell because the dog just wouldn't let go of it.

Sat around after that, and went to Northpoint for dinner. Then went home.

So, that's like all?

Diary Entry - 26 January 2009

Wee! It's Chinese New Year~

Okay, it's nothing much. Had reunion dinner yesterday, was pretty great after a few years of plain food. >_>

Then went to Bugis and the Kwan Yim Temple to ask for blessings for the new year. Fun as usual. Of course, I wished for good results... and something else.

Reached home at around 2300. Showered, and sent a few Happy New Year wishes to some closer friends. Got back a few, a few went and never came back. >_> <_< The TV show said that my luck this year will be good, yea, right, I hope. And today, woke up quite early in the morning and rested for a bit before heading for maternal Grandma's home, had lunch there and chatted a bit before going down to my paternal Grandma's place. I once again understood the fact that blackhead extractors are not your friend. Okay, then I went to sleep. I love to sleep. Grandma woke me up to help her play mahjong as she needed to cook. So I sat down, a won quite a bit. Then I went away to play a bit of computer, before going back to play more mahjong as Grandma needed to steam some prawns. Won some more. Yea. Then I reached home, quite monotonous. I always feel suicidal at night. *sighs*

Diary Entry - 14 January 2009

Had our Recyclethon today. Went out to the nearby coffeeshop for lunch before returning at 3pm.

Ended up in a group of five, Me, Qunjie, Jiajun, Xinglai, Qiguang. We were asked to take the last block, which was Block 660. It was quite a huge one, but we managed to clear it quite quickly. There were a few interesting households, but I shan't elaborate it here.

We ended at 4+pm, with two truckloads of old newspaper and clothes. Some group managed to get a television set early, another a VCR player, and in the end, our group got 2 Sony speakers to form a complete home theatre. XD

Ms Kaur was there looking after the stuff, and she treated us to can drinks after the whole thing. Managed to clear everything at around 6pm, and went to help out in clearing the stuff from the drop-off point in school into a large container before the recycling plant sent it away. Reached home and nearing 7pm.

These activities are real fun. It's nice to see kind residents donating things that can be sold for a bit of money, and it's really pleasing to see a large amount of "junk" collected, although it could get really heavy.

This aided class bonding, no doubt.

Alright, I shall get on to work now or I shall never finish them. Good day~

Diary Entry - 12 January 2009 {First 'O' Level A1!}

Woots~

Achieved my first 'O' Levels A1 for my Express Chinese~ Mdm Goh looked oh so happy with 27 A1s in our class. The worst result was B3, 6 of them in our class. :D

So we decided to go for a celebration at Buddy Hoagies, also a belated celebration for Xinglai's birthday. Had my favourite Flame Grilled Chicken set. Ran into Vanessa and Leesun eating there. They were done when we went in, so they left a bit early. After eating, went home. XD

Okay, that's just about it all. :D :D :D

Diary Entry - 8 January 2009

I'm tired. Again.

Seriously, school at 7am, came home at around 1430, left again at 1445. Had the first Japanese lesson for the year. The lesson was okay, but the assignments and expectations of Secondary Four students scared the hell out of me.

And I reached home at around 1930. Showered, dinner, and it was 2000. Didn't start on my work. Had a bit of inspiration and was feeling down, so I decided to pen my sadness into a sad song going by the melody of Sagashi ni Ikou yo. I'll post it later, then also, I wrote a set of lyrics for Kimi to no Fureai as well.

I'm amazed at how people can change out of a sudden. Okay, maybe not that much of a sudden, but hey, it just seems weird.

And I'm also amazed at how much Ong Kock Hua can talk. He spent more than an hour talking about the school...

Oh, and the Scarnival08 Team has helped the teachers-in-charge, namely Mdm Connie Yeo, Mrs Jessie Tan and Mrs Catherine Chan, win the Outstanding Contribution Award for Scarnival08 Team. They got some cash money so I made sure Mdm Yeo treats us to some food. We worked hard, ya?

Today was then monotonous. Sitting around like an empty shell...

Diary Entry - 6 January 2009

I'm tired... Seriously.

Maybe it's just for now. I still can't adapt back to the studying mode. Having loads and loads of new stuff to learn everyday is a strain. For some good reasons I just can't get enough sleep. And matters just can't stop bothering me.

Can I just fall asleep and never wake up again? While no one will probably cry for me, I can sleep peacefully forever~

Okay, not that suicidal, but if time just stops, then it would be good.

Alright, whatever.

Diary Entry - 1 January 2009

Happy New Year everyone~

Well, although I foresee that this isn't a very good year for myself, I hope it's a good one for... whoever is reading this. Who cares. No one reads this anyways.

Right, so what gave me the foresight that this year is going to suck? Firstly, we went for a countdown party at Jasmine's place. Somehow I feel like an alien or something there. Don't ask me why, I don't know.

Oh then, while the rest stayed there overnight, I had to go home because of my "strict" parents. And while me and Qunjie were walking to the bus stop, we thought there might not be any buses so we decided to walk to Yio Chu Kang MRT station to catch a train home. But ended up walking the wrong way so we ended up walking all the way back to Khatib. =.=

First day of the year and something stupid like this happened. This is not good.

Never mind. I'm too mentally drained to think about it. Somehow I just feel like sleeping for good. =.=
