...read this. Just in any case you feel that your life is terrible and everything is not going right, I hope these two stories can help. I received them in an email sent to me by a friend of mine, and I think they really are very meaningful for a person feeling down. Story 1: Diver's Disaster A huge forestfire broke out in a forest. The civil defence forces were sent to put out the fire by helicopters. After the fire ceased, a man was found dead in the woods, in a diving suit. After an autopsy, he was found to have died from internal injuries instead of being burnt to death. After more investigation, the truth emerged. This man was going for his diving sessions in one of the lakes near the forest. For the first minute, he was diving in a 100 metres deep lake, and the next, he was swimming is a huge bucket in the air. He was scooped up together with the water in the lake and rained down upon the burning forest. ---Story 2: Bike is Bad A man was in his garage, fixing his motorcycle. His wife was in the kitchen preparing dinner for the two of them. The man accidentally started the engine for the motorbike and it charged away. Trying to stop the rampaging bike, the man kept his grip of the bike handle steadily. The motorbike rammed into the wall of the garage and finally stopped when it slammed into the wall of the master bedroom. The man was seriously injured and was sent to the hospital by an ambulance. The couple was living high up a hill and the flight of stairs was very steep. It took the paramedics much care to bring down the victim on a stretcher. After the man was admitted to the hospital, the wife went home to clean up the mess. She grabbed pieces of tissue paper and wiped the petroleum off the ground, and threw them into the toilet bowl. Days later, the man returned home. Feeling totally depressed at the fact that his bike was broken, together with his room, he went into the toilet and lighted a cigarette. When the flame devoured the last bit of the cigarette, the man made the most fatal mistake of his life. He dropped the lit cigarette butt into the toilet bowl, which immediately caused a huge explosion. Ambulance was called for again. The paramedics were bringing the man down the stretcher when they asked the wife what exactly happened. After some explanation, the two paramedics burst into laughter and dropped the man on the flight of stairs, before seeing him roll down all the way to ground level. ---So, feeling much better?
